ROLE PURPOSE The Production Head is responsible for end-to-end manufacturing operations across both in-house manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing (OEM) operations. The role ensures achievement of production, quality, cost, delivery and compliance objectives while leading production execution, Line/Process Quality Control (LQC), production readiness, BOM implementation, engineering change execution, manufacturing compliance and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across both in-house production and Contract Manufacturing partners. •Achieve daily, weekly and monthly production plans while optimizing capacity utilization. •Manage OEM operations, in-house assembly lines and production supervisors to meet business requirements. •Drive production planning execution, line balancing, manpower deployment and production readiness. •Ensure timely implementation of approved BOM revisions, ECNs and engineering changes across all manufacturing locations. •Own Line/Process Quality Control (LQC) including first-off approval, in-process inspections, patrol audits, rejection reduction and process discipline. •Ensure compliance with statutory, EHS, customer, process and factory requirements across in-house and OEM facilities. •Coordinate with SCM, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and ME for uninterrupted production and new product industrialization. •Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, productivity improvement, cost optimization and waste reduction. •Monitor production KPIs, conduct daily reviews and implement corrective and preventive actions.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA in Operations is a plus. •8–10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing/production operations, preferably in appliances, consumer durables, or related industries. •Strong hands-on experience in shop-floor management, production planning execution, and team leadership. •Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma). •Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics).
